FAMILY CLOCK · AGREEMENT
User Agreement
The terms for using your family’s shared clock.
Your verified App Store account represents one member. Devices sharing that purchase account share the same family permissions. One purchase account has one family slot; restoring purchases recovers its original member and family, and does not create an additional family. Recovery of management access does not extend an expired subscription. Other account members join only after subscriber approval.
The service and this agreement
FamilyClock (家迹钟), provided by Shandong Yichuang Zhiwei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., helps an in-app family share current daily status. These terms describe use of that family service, including membership, subscription access and sharing controls. Questions may be sent to contact@etron.net.cn.
The app’s software license is governed by the Apple Standard EULA. These service terms do not replace that license, change Apple’s purchase rules or remove rights that applicable law gives you.
Account and appropriate use
Use an App Store account you are authorized to access, and choose a name and avatar you have permission to share. Keep your account and invitation links secure. Do not use the service to impersonate someone, monitor a person without their knowledge, harass others or bypass access controls. When helping a child use the service, involve their parent or guardian and obtain the permissions appropriate to their circumstances.
A verified App Store account identifies one family-service member; a separate Sign in with Apple login is not required. Anyone sharing that Media & Purchases account can restore the same member and its family permissions. FamilyClock verifies purchase-account evidence and the app instance, not the identity of the person operating the device. Keep control of the purchasing account in Apple’s account settings. Removing a device ends its current service sessions but does not prevent someone who still controls that purchasing account from restoring again.
For a child under 14, obtain the parent’s or guardian’s legally required consent before providing or sharing the child’s information. Do not provide it without that consent. The Privacy Policy explains guardian requests and the treatment of sensitive information.
Membership and responsibility
One family has at most six distinct account members, including its subscriber. Multiple devices sharing a purchasing account are the same member and do not add places. For a new family, the subscriber completes the purchase first. After verification, they name and create the family, then manage invitations, membership approvals and member removal. A verified subscription remains associated with its purchaser if family creation is left unfinished. Ordinary members do not need their own subscription to join a covered family.
Opening or previewing an invitation does not join a family. The recipient reviews the family, submits a request, and joins only after subscriber approval. Invitations and pending requests reserve a place until used, cancelled, revoked or expired. Only share an invitation with its intended recipient.
Ordinary members may leave; a manager may revoke invitations, remove members or dissolve the family through the available controls. The app may require the manager to resolve other memberships before leaving or deleting their account. There is no automatic transfer of a paid subscription to an unrelated family.
Dissolving a family ends its persistent family slot; the current service does not allow the same purchase account to create a replacement family. Deleting your service account also revokes that purchase-account identity, preventing it from reconnecting through normal recovery. These actions do not make a new slot available and do not cancel the Apple subscription. Review the in-app consequences before confirming; contact support if assistance is needed.
Monthly and annual subscriptions
Both auto-renewable plans provide the same family service. The monthly plan bills for one month; the annual plan charges the full annual amount at once. Apple’s purchase sheet and the app display the current price, currency and period for your storefront before you confirm. This document does not set a worldwide price or promise an offer.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. A subscription renews unless cancelled through Apple; review the renewal date and terms shown by Apple. One verified active subscription covers the family, so other members should not buy a duplicate. Any trial or offer applies only if it is explicitly shown and you are eligible under Apple’s rules.
Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the next subscription period starts. Manage renewal before the renewal date shown by Apple. Where a free or discounted trial is offered, Apple advises cancelling at least 24 hours before it ends if you do not want it to renew. Cancellation generally stops the next renewal; access for an already paid period and any refund follow Apple’s displayed terms and applicable law.
Restore, change or cancel
Use Restore Purchases in Settings → Subscription management with the original Media & Purchases account on a device that can complete verification. It recovers that account’s original member and family management access; it does not transfer another account’s family or grant a second family slot. An expired or refunded subscription does not resume paid sharing. Recovery never recreates deleted family data. A restore and every new purchase remain subject to Apple transaction verification and the service’s family association checks. A pending payment or approval is not yet a confirmed subscription.
Use Apple subscription management to change between the same-level monthly and annual plans. Apple determines the effective date shown there; changing a selection in the app does not itself change your billing. Cancel renewal in Apple’s subscription settings. Deleting the app, leaving a family or deleting your FamilyClock account does not cancel renewal.
Apple handles purchase refunds and their eligibility. See Apple subscription cancellation help and Apple refund help. We do not promise a refund outcome.
Expiry and verification
When verified access ends, daily family-status updates pause. Existing status may remain visible with its original timestamp and should not be read as a fresh update. A grace period applies only if Apple reports valid coverage and the service can verify it. A refund or revocation may end access before the previously shown expiry.
Network outages or unavailable verification can delay access or restoration. The app may retain a pending transaction for another verification attempt rather than claiming unverified access. You can still manage a pending membership request, stop sharing, leave as an ordinary member or request account deletion without buying a subscription.
Optional status sharing
You decide which automatic sources to enable and which system permissions to grant. You can refresh detection, edit your own saved places or pause daily sharing. Daily status is determined automatically; help requests are started and ended by their initiating member. Status is an interpretation of available signals, not a guarantee of a person’s whereabouts or activity; the system may delay background work or show an old status.
For an account with several devices, selecting this device to publish updates replaces the previous publishing device. Disabling daily updates pauses future status publication, while the last shared status and its timestamp can remain. Do not infer a person’s safety, health or consent from an icon or an absence of updates.
When a daily state has not been confirmed again for its 30-minute, 60-minute or two-hour threshold, the last confirmed state and original update time remain visible and are marked offline. Without a reliable record, the app waits for a state. A continuously observed period of source-device inactivity reaching the same threshold can also mark the state offline. The subscriber’s saved Home address is shared as a separate family setting; private residence, work and school rules may sync through your private iCloud according to your settings. A status such as Moving is a technical interpretation and does not confirm a particular activity or route.
Help requests are not emergency services
A help request is a message to your current family. In versions supporting ongoing updates, location is updated only during a new request that you start, enable the location option for and explicitly confirm; older requests or consent to a single location do not automatically become ongoing sharing. Location is optional and you can request help with it off. Only the latest fix is stored, without a location trail. New fixes replace older ones; the latest fix in an ongoing request is not automatically cleared after one hour without an update. Older single-location requests retain their original limited expiry. Only the initiating member can end a help event; it does not expire automatically. Ending it on your device immediately stops local help-location updates and clears local location information, with the service location withdrawn when connectivity allows. Updates and delivery depend on permission, connectivity, family access, background scheduling and system behavior including force-quitting; a fixed update interval or immediate delivery is not guaranteed.
FamilyClock does not contact emergency responders or provide medical or emergency-dispatch services. In an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service directly. Sharing precise location should be a deliberate decision.
An active family membership can use help requests independently of paid daily-status updates. A help request is still subject to valid account and family access, the available publishing device and network conditions. Other members acknowledging a request does not end it or guarantee assistance.
Privacy and ending use
Read the Privacy Policy in Settings → Privacy & terms for the information used, local processing, providers and available controls. The official public privacy-policy page is also available online. Viewing legal documents grants no location or other system permission.
You may stop using the service and use its leave, dissolve-family or account-deletion controls as applicable. Removed or deleted identities cannot fetch new family data. Already downloaded copies and infrastructure backups may not disappear instantly. Apple manages the subscription separately, including after account deletion.
Availability, rights and contact
The service depends on Apple, managed cloud infrastructure and your device. It may be interrupted or delayed for technical reasons; no status-update interval, location accuracy or message delivery time is guaranteed. Use is subject to applicable law and the Apple software license. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or create additional liability limits beyond that license.
This dated copy is included with the app for offline access. Updates to service behavior should be reflected in the corresponding terms and product information. For service or agreement questions, contact contact@etron.net.cn. Never include passwords or full payment details in a support email.
Please read these terms before creating or joining a family or purchasing a subscription. You can stop using the related service if you do not accept them. We will date published updates and provide any notice or renewed acceptance required by applicable law when material terms change. Merely opening a legal web page does not start a subscription or authorize data sharing.
